Ingredients
- 500g Chicken Sausages or any other meat Sausages
- 1 Tablespoon Cooking Oil
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1 Onion, halved and sliced
- 1 Carrot, peeled and sliced on the diagonal
- 2 Potatoes, peeled, halved along the length and sliced on the diagonal
- 1 Tablespoon Curry Powder or more to taste
- 2 Tablespoons Flour, any type
- 2 cups (500ml) Chicken Stock/Broth, low sodium
- 1 Teaspoon Salt or more to taste
- 1 cup Green Peas, frozen
- 3 Tablespoons (50g) Butter
Instructions
(1) Heat Cooking Oil in a large pan/skillet over medium high heat
(2) Cook Sausages, turning them frequently to brown all over and then remove
(3) Cut Sausages into bite-size pieces on the diagonal
(4) Optional: Put the Sausage pieces back into the pan/skillet and cook the sides exposed by cutting in the previous step so that they are brown all over. Remove Sausage pieces when equally brown on all sides.
(5) Add Potato pieces in the same pan/skillet and lightly brown them on both sides while flipping them gently to avoid burning and then remove
(6) Add Garlic, Onion and Butter in the same pan/skillet. Melt the Butter and then cook for 2 minutes or until Onions are translucent.
(7) Add Curry Powder and stir for 30-60 seconds
(8) Add Flour and mix for 30-60 seconds
(9) Gradually pour in Chicken Stock/Broth while mixing constantly
(10) Add Carrots, Potatoes, Green Peas, Salt and gently stir well
(11) Add Sausages, bring to simmer and cook for 3 minutes or until sauce thickens
(12) Serve over boiled Rice, Potato Mash, Pasta or Noodles
