Ingredients
- 1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- Ground or crushed Black Pepper to taste
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
Instructions
(1) Tip: If you have caught Australian Salmon yourself then ensure that it is bled thoroughly. This is essential to getting a better taste and smell when you cook
(2) Cut the Australian Salmon in pieces (cutlets). Assuming 500g of cutlets for this recipe
(3) Tip: If you caught Australian Salmon yourself and it was not bled thoroughly then soak it in freshwater for 20-30 minutes to get rid of most of the blood
(4) Mix the ingredients and rub on both sides of the fish cutlets
(5) Put all the cutlets in a container, cover with aluminum foil and marinate in fridge for 2 hours. This step can be skipped if you are in a hurry.
(6) Heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius
(7) Bake the fish under aluminum foil for half an hour
(8) Remove aluminum foil, turn the oven grill on and bake for another five minutes
(9) Turn sides
(10) When most of the water has evaporated under the grill and fish looks crispy on both sides, the fish is done
